Gov. Ambode orders VIO out of Lagos roads

The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, has ordered the temporary suspension of the state’s Vehicle Inspection Officers, VIOs, from road operation in the state with immediate effect. Ambode reportedly gave the order following public complaints regarding the unruly behaviour of some of the VIO officers.
